Cyteal Antiseptic Solution, 500ml

The Cyteal Antiseptic Solution is an antiseptic foaming solution which is perfect for an external Use. It can be Used mainly in disinfection of skin and mucosa. Made with quality ingredients, it is safe and hygiene to Use.

Dosage:

• Always respect the prescribed dosage by your doctor. If in doubt consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• This product is Used as a liquid soap: natural or diluted 1:10 followed by a thorough rinse.
• Do not keep the diluted solution.

Active Ingredient:

• Hexamidine diisethionate 0.10 g
• Chlorhexidine gluconate (solution at 20% m/v) 0.5ml
• Chlorocresol 0.30 g
• Per 100ml of foaming solution.

Other ingredients:
Alcanamido (C12-C18), propylbetaine (Amonyl 380BA), dihydroxyethyl alcanamine (Comperlan KD), edetic acid, coniferol perfume, lactic acid, purified water.

Form:
500 ml vial.

Precautions for Use:

• Special warnings:
• Do not Use this drug on a large area of skin, on damaged skin (including burnt skin), or new skin without your doctor's advice in case of the risk of the drug passing into the blood.
• Micobial contamination is possible from the opening of the antiseptic solution

Specific precautions:

• Rinse carefully and thoroughly after Use.
• If the vial is more than 250ml: If the vial's volume is more than 250ml and is open for a prolonged period of time there is a risk of contamination.
• If in doubt do not hesitate to consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Contraindications:

• Do not Use Cyteal foaming solution in the following cases:
• If you are allergic (very sensitive) to the active ingredients or one of its components contained in Cyteal,
• In the ear canal in case of tympanic perforation or in the eyes,
• As an antiseptic before surgery or a surgical procedure,
• For disinfection of medical and surgical equipment.

Interactions with other drugs:

• Avoid other antiseptics as this will reduce the effects.
• Do not Use it at the same time as ordinary soap and do not Use a cork as a stopper.
• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs.

Pregnancy and breast feeding:

• This drug should be Used with precaution during pregnancy and breast feeding.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs.

Side effects:

• Like all drugs Cyteal foaming solution can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone):
• Possibility of benign reactions (especially when repeated): pins and needles, itching desire, burning sensation, dry skin, redness.
• Due to the presence of hexamidine several local reactions can occur. They slowly regress.
• Due to the presence of chlorhexidine, possibility of:
• Eczema from being in contact with the product, more so with damaged skin, mucous or ulcerations,
• General allergic reactions (rare).
