Method of administration: Rectal, These doses may be repeated up to a maximum of 4 times in 24 hours. Suppositories should not be given more often than every 4 hours. How to use it Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Put on a disposable glove, if desired. Moisten the suppository by dipping it briefly in cool water. Lie your child on their sided and raise their knee to their chest. Push the suppository gently, blunt end first, into their rectum, or back passage.
